Weekend Wonders

COMMENT QUESTION: What’s was your fashion obsession this weekend?

I have mixed feelings about Sunday. I enjoy going to service and then to a big breakfast of some sort, then we sit back and enjoy a relaxing day. But then again I hate the feeling that the weekend is ending and another week of work is waiting for me to embark on it. But what can we do about it? See for me I’m enjoying myself as I kick back, turn on an episode of Friends and flip through the latest issue of Glamour (Victoria Beckham looks amazing on the cover total reverse on her normal persona) while eating a piece of chocolate. Does life get any better?

Anyway to get to the point, I had quite a hectic weekend and this my first chance to sit down and relax. But regardless fashion was a big thing on my mind (when is it not?). So I decided to share with you some of the goodies on my mind!

1. Jil Sanders Fall Collection (who’s clothes always leave me speechless)

2. Sonia Rykiel for H&M

On Friday I finally got around to checking out this amazing collaboration. I had seen a couple of ad’s and heard lots of hype but I set aside a decent amount of time and went through every piece (trying to separate between the pieces that I wanted and the ones I couldn’t live without). For example I cant live without those leggings for one more second! 

3. Milan Fashion week! Thanks to youtube and twitter.com/mrjoezee I’m constantly watching runway videos and being updated on the latest!

I LOVE this youtube channel! Their reporters are so witty and are great at their job! They did an amazing job at covering NY fashion week!

Fashion Cravings

Hello Fashion Followers! Lately I’ve been dedicating my time to reading the spring issues for the year. They are in fact my favorite magazine season out of them all (Holiday issues are a close, close second!) To get to the point, I’ve been suffering from MAJOR fashion cravings. And I’ve come to the conclusion that blogging is either going to help this problem or make it worse, but who cares? I really need to talk about these types of items to get them off of my mind. Don’t worry I’ll revisit them once I start scouting out my own versions to buy.

(btw, don’t those red shoes look amazing? The best part is they’re from H&M! Yay for discount stores!!)

These two items are things I’ve been dying to wear. I’ve also been dying to get my hands on a printed pencil skirt just like this one (too bad this one’s $200). I’m loving the all white bib necklace! one word: killer. 

I don’t know why but I’m really wanting to get some beat up leather boots (its very sad that I’ve yet to acquire them). Since I’ve had an obsession with sundresses (strange since its not even spring yet), I want to pair them with some boots like that. What I like to call an unexpected twist. 

Yes, I am a major fan of the playsuit. I’m actually really excited that they will be coming back for a second summer (if they’re not you can bet that I’m gonna still wear them) I’m pretty much obsessed with the one on the left, it’s so adorable!

Woah, woah, woah. Can we just talk about these shoes for a second. Amazing, right? When I  came across these shoes online (from Topshop) I was really surprised that I liked them so much. Normally I wouldn’t be as into these shoes but I’m really liking this style. Definitely something I need to look into for spring! Its very sad that I don’t have a Topshop anywhere near me, I guess I’ll have to wait for F21 or H&M to hop on the bandwagon.

Rainy Days

Here we go, fashion diaries numero dos.

Shirt-Urban Outfitters Trousers-Forever 21 Belt-Urban Outfitters

Where: A haircut and running a few errands 

Well today was another gloomy winter day. I absolutely hate these days before spring! I wish the sun would come out to play and we could be done with this whole rain spell. So I decided today I would put together a pretty bland palette. I started with these black trousers that I got just the other day. I’ve been obsessed with them since I got them and I’ve been dying to wear them! I love them so much that I’m doing a video all about them which will probably be up on friday. Due to lack of time to put some thought into my ensamble I quickly tucked in the UO top. I slipped the cloth belt that came with the trousers and clasped on this UO belt that I recently got. It turned out pretty good, don’t you think?

One more thing before I sign off. My last post was one of my most viewed posts. I got a number that I’ve never been close to before. Its not very high but high for me. So if your out there reading this I would love nothing more than a comment. I love all feedback.
